Our History

The Burleson Bass Club was established in 1972. It is one of the oldest Bass clubs around the Dallas/ Ft.Worth area. Almost everybody you know has fished the club at one time or another.

Our tournament schedule is from February – October each year. The club is always looking for new members to come fish with us and have fun. Our membership is $400 it includes Big Bass and 8 tournaments ,6 lb pot and year end tournament. Guest can fish with a member for a fee (except for the year end) to decide if our club is for you. We are a non – profit organization that holds a high standard in conservation. Maintaining an excellence established in 1972 to help the future of bass fishing and encourage all anglers to be conservationists and ecologically friendly. All anglers are welcome, including, ladies and juniors.

Entry fee for 2026 Season $400 To be paid in full by March each year

To include:

• $30 Per tournament x 8= $240
• Big Bass $5 x8 =                     $40
• 6 LB pot                                     $30
• Yearend tournament =        $50
•  Membership fee =                $40

Any money left over after paying club expenses from membership fees will be voted on how to be used each year.

Pay out – for every 7 Members, we will pay 1 place up to 5 places

            Example:

            1-7 Members = 1 place paid                    1^st = 100%

            8-14 Members= 2 places paid                1^st = 60% / 2^nd = 40%

            15-21 Members= 3 places paid              1^st = 50% / 2^nd = 30% / 3^rd = 20%

            22-28 Members= 4 places paid              1^st = 50% / 2^nd = 30% / 3^rd = 15% / 4^th = 5%

            29-35 Members= 5 places paid              1^st = 45% / 2^nd = 25% / 3^rd = 15% / 4^th = 10% / 5^th = 5%
